Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that, an employee
was exposed to serious injuries that could result in falling to the lower
surface from an
suspended load:
a) On or about March 6, 2007 and times prior, employees  were exposed to
injuries from falls
greater than 10 feet while working on a suspended load of drywall
materials.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this
hazards is to train the employees not to get on the suspended loads.
Abatement Verification:  Abatement certification and documentation is
required for this
item (see enclosed "Sample Abatement-Certification Letter").-Certification
