prefabricated wood
trusses were not sufficiently braced during installation. 16" pieces of
1"x3" wood strapping was
used as temporary bracing opposed to 12' lengths of 2"x4" stress grade
lumber.
One feasible means and method of abatement, among others, is to implement
the
recommendations related to temporary bracing, as set forth by industry
consensus
standards
institutes such as the Wood Truss Council of America or the Truss Plate
Institute.
