The employer does not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator

employees working adjacent to the powered industrial truck is protected
from
struck-by hazards in the event of a boom collapse or structural steel
collapse caused
by operating the forklift in a manner not intended by the manufacturer.
This
violation occurred on or about December 4, 2007 at a worksite located at
Building
A, 220 O'Connell Way, Taunton, MA.  To abate this violation, the employer
must
ensure that all powered industrial truck operators follow the operating
instructions,
warnings, or precautions listed in the operator's manual for the types of
vehicles
that the employees are operating.
