Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazards created by operating a collar and cuff press without proper training: a) Frazer Dry Cleaners, Malvern, PA - The employer did not implement a training program for operators who work with the dry cleaning presses throughout the facility. NOTE: ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION OF THIS CONDITION IS REQUIRED One Feasible abatement method among others would be to implement a training program on the hazards and safe use of the various presses throughout the facility.t
