Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct these hazards
is to comply with ANSI/SIA A92.6-1999 for Self-Propelled Elevating Work
Platforms.  Section
8.10(9) requires "Personnel footing.  Personnel shall maintain firm
footing on the platform floor
while working thereon.  Climbing by occupants on the midrail or toprail of
the aerial platform
is prohibited."
