proof tested,
inspected or marked for their rated capacities prior to being put into
service. The parts
ranged in weighed from several hundred to several thousand pounds.
Among other methods, one feasable and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard
is to ensure the below-the-hook lifting devices are proof tested,
inspected and marked in
accordance with ASME B30.20-2006, Below-the-Hook Lifting Devices, Section
20-1.2.1
Marking, Section 20-1.3.1 Inspection, and Section 20-1.3.8.2 Load Test.
