Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:On or About 12/21/06 Equipment:John Deer Grader Model #JD670-AMD. Reg. L/G 36887 Condition:Employees were exposed to the hazard of being crushed by over turning equipment since the equipment was not provided with a seatbelt. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to install seatbelt protection.
