On or about 4/11/07, the employer used slab tongs that were made only for
blocks with
smooth surfaces to move granite curb stones that had rough faces.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this
hazard is to use a safer method of moving curb stones from one location to
another.
