Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employmnent and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck by hazards: (a) On or about May 3, 2007 - PVC pipe was being used to convey compressed air throughout the entire manufacturing area. ONE SUITABLE AND ACCEPTABLE MEANS OF ABATEMENT OF THIS HAZARD IS TO USE APPROVED METAL PIPE THAT IS APPROVED FOR USE WITH COMPRESSED AIR. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIREDATION
