P.L. 91-596 Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the fall hazards: a)In the receiving warehouse on or about July 23, 2009, employees were exposed to fall hazards when they used two Green Bull fiberglass stepladders that had the bottom rungs bent and at least one leg on each ladder to lean inward. A feasible means of abatement would be to withdraw the ladder from service. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED.TION
