P.L. 91-596 Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of
1970: The employer
did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards
that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that
employees were exposed to the hazard(s) of:
a.UL Bag Room - On or about September 09, 2009, employees were exposed to
struck-by and/or caught-in hazards in that the emergency stop cable for
the auto
bagging machine conveyor system was not operational.
AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE METHOD TO
CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS: remove the tape and ensure that it is installed and
maintained in according with the manufacturing recommendation.
ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED.TION
