P.L. 91-596 Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazard(s): a) On or about January 5, 2010, employees who performed lawn maintenance activities along side and in the roadway at "7208 Hodgson Memorial Drive" were exposed to struck-by hazards presented by vehicular traffic. Among other feasible means of abatement, one option would be to supply and enforce the use of high visibility vest for employees exposed to struck-by hazards presented by vehicular traffic. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED.
