Nevada Revised Statute 618.375(1):  The employer did not furnish
employment and a place of
employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or
likely to cause death
or serious physical harm to employees:
The employer failed to ensure the eye wash station was in an accessible
location in accordance
to ANSI Regulation, as follows:
a.Inside the shop an eye wash station was located approximately 90 feet
from the
employees using the resins, urethane, silicone, and other chemicals to
make fiber
glass molds. The employees had to travel through several obstacles to use
the eye
wash.
Reference: Ansi Z358.11-1998 revision of Ansi Z358.1-1990.
7.4.4  Eye/face wash units shall be in accessible locations that require
no more
than 10 seconds to reach.
One feasible means of abatement is to install another eye wash station
near the workers.
