29 CFR 1960.8(b): The head of a federal agency did not comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards applicable to the agency. a)ATF office at 3 Garret Mountain Plaza, W. Paterson, NJ: Employees are engaged in inspecting explosives containing hazardous chemical(s) such as, but not limited to, nitrate compounds. The employer did not ensure that a written hazard communication program is available to the employees and to the Assistant Secretary in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.1200 (e)(1) and (e)(4), on or about 09/21/07. b)ATF office at 3 Garret Mountain Plaza, W. Paterson, NJ: Employees engaged in law enforcement duties including, but not limited to, restraining assailants, are exposed to blood and bodily fluids. The employer did not ensure that a written exposure control plan is accessible to the employees in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.1030 (c)(1)(iii), on or about 09/21/07.
