Stat. 182.653 subd. 2: The employer did not furnish to each employee, conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards which caused or were likely to cause death or serious injury to employees: On May 14, 2007, an employee was injured when he was struck in the leg by an old water line being removed from the excavation. The end of the water line was improperly located, which resulted in the employee being in the danger zone of moving materials.
