North Carolina General Statute 95.129(01) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a fall to lower level: a)jobsite, Forest Glen Sub Division, 302 Glenview Drive, Bobcat Model 773 skid steer with attached elevated platform - for the employee standing and working on the elevated platform that was 10 feet above the lower level or ground without fall protection. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method would be to use an extendable boom lift with platform to transport materials and tools to workers on the scaffold system material platform.
