Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:

El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
At the Manuel Bou Gali School of Education Department, the employees were
working
at different works such as teaching class to intermediate level, writting
and filling
documents, counseling students and parents among others works. Two iron
inner doors
were with the weld damaged and were loose or to fall at the following
area:
a- Left iron inner door at Physical Education room.
b- At end of aisle of second floor beside English room.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatament method to
correct this
hazard is repair the weld point.

En la Escuela Manuel Bou Gali del Departamento de Educacion los empleados
estaban
trabajando en diferentes trabajos tales como ensenando clase a nivel
intermedio,
escribiendo y archivando documentos, consejando estudiantes y padres entre
otros
trabajos. Dos portones de hierro estaban con la soldadura danada y estaban
suletos o por
caerse en las siguientes areas:
a- Porton de hierro izquierdo en el salon de educacion fisica.
b- En el final del pasillo del segundo piso al lado del salon de ingles.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo de correccion que sea factible y aceptable
para
corregir
este riesgo es reparar los puntos de soldadura.
