Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: In side of Tire Warehouse an employee of Supply Division of Engineering and Operations Department of San Juan Municipality was exposed to serious injuries the floor. The employee was dispatching tires. Hazard: Concrete wall collapse. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is perform a study of the area and after define the problem, repair the structure to prevent the degradation of the building. Dentro del Almacen de Gomas un empleado de la Division de Suministros del Departamento de Operaciones e Ingenieria del Municipio de San Juan estaba expuesto a lesiones serias tales como y no limitadas a cortaduras, contusiones, laceraciones y hematomas debido a que la pared sur presentaba una grieta. La grieta cruzaba la pared diagonalmente llegando a una altura de 9 pies sobre el suelo. El empleado despachaba gomas. Riesgo: Colapso de la pared de concreto. Entre otros metodos, un metodo apropiado y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es realizar un estudio del area y luego de definido el problema realizar las reparaciones a la estructura para prevenir la degradacion del edificio.on

Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the Tire Warehouse of Supply Division of Engineering and Operations Department of San Juan Municipality,it was observed that employee working dispatching tires, was exposed to serious head injuries such as and not limited to cuts, contusions, lacerations and hematomas while working under a roof that had loose plastering. It was documented that the concrete plastering was falling to the working area. The roof was at 9 feet over the lower level. Hazard: Hit by concrete pieces. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is perform a study of the area and after define the problem, repair the structure to prevent the degradation of the building. En el Almacen de Gomas de la Division de Suministros del Departamento de Operaciones e Ingenieria del Municipio de San Juan el empleado que trabajaba en el despacho de gomas estuvo expuesto a lesiones serias tales como y no limitadas a cortaduras, contusiones, laceraciones y hematomas, mientras trabajaba bajo un techo que tenia su empanetado que se estaba cayendo. Se documento que el enpanetado de hormigon de techo caia al area de trabajo. El techo tenia 9 pies de alto sobre el nivel mas bajo. Riesgo: Golpes por pedazos de concreto. Entre otros metodos, un metodo apropiado y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es realizar un estudio del area y luego de definido el problema realizar las reparaciones a la estructura para prevenir la degradacion del edificio.on
