Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a fall hazard while working in the articulating boom lift: (a) Jobsite 3710 Saxonburg BLVD: On or about 10/2/07 employees, working in a JLG articulating boom, were not wearing safety harnesses. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable means to abate this hazard is to provide and enforce the use of safety harnesses when working from a JLG articulating boom.ulating
