button, leaving employees who may get their finger hung into the unguarded
moving
conveyor shackles without access to an emergency stop.
Abatement note:
One means of abatement would be the addition of an emergency stop line /
button installed within reach
of all employee stations on the line, to include employees in the
"Re-work" area and the USDA
inspector assistants.
In the Alternative:
29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):  One or more methods of machine guarding was not
provided to protect the operator
and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created
by points of operation, ingoing nip
points, rotating parts and flying chips and sparks:
