Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a)At the office area of the "Cuerpo de Emergencias Medicas Estatal" - Were observed pieces of concrete falling from the ceiling. The employees were performing offices works. Hazard: ceiling unfastening. Among others methods a feasible and acceptable method is repair the ceiling. a)En el area de oficina del Cuerpo de Emergencias Medicas Estatal - Se observo que pedazos de cemento se desprendian del techo. Los empleados realizaban sus trabajos de oficina. Riesgo: desprendimiento del techo. Entre otros metodos de correccion varios un metodo factible y aceptable es reparar el techo."

The employees were observed performing offices works. Hazard: falls. Among other correction methods, one feasible and acceptable methods is repair the ceiling. a)En las oficinas del Cuerpo de Emergencias Medicas Estatal - Se observo evidencia de filtraciones de agua a traves del techo. Los empleados fueron observados realizando sus trabajos de oficina. Riesgos: caidas. Entre otros metodos de correccion, un metodo factible y aceptable es reparar el techo."

Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a)Cuerpo de Emergencias Medicas Estatal - Did not have a written protocol to handle domestic violence in the workplace, as required by the Act for the Implementation of a Protocol to Handle Domestic Violence Situations in the Workplace or Place of Employment, Act No. 217 of 2006. Hazard: fatalities, injuries, and illnesses related to domestic violence in the workplace. Method to abate the hazard: Develop a written protocol to handle domestic violence in the workplace and provide training to all the employees. Information is available at the Women's Advocate Office. a)El patrono Cuerpo de Emergencias Medicas Estatal - No tenia un protocolo escrito para manejar situaciones de violencia domestica en el lugar de trabajo como se requirio por la Ley de Implementacion de un Protocolo de Situaciones de Violencia Domestica en el Lugar de trabajo o Lugar de Empleo, Ley No. 217 de 2006. Riesgo: fatalidades, lesiones y enfermedades relacionadas con la violencia domestica en el lugar de trabajo. Metodo para corregir este riesgo: Desarrollar un protocolo escrito para manejar situaciones de violencia domestica en el lugar de trabajo y proveer adiestramiento a los empleados.
