Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a)at the Command Center Office, the employees were answering calls and filling complaints at the phone room in which the illumination was 32 footcandles. For a sufficient visual operation the ANSI A132.1-1973 (Office Lighting) indicate it should be at least 70 footcandles. Hazard: Force the vision to see clearly. a)en la Oficina de Centro de Mando, los empleados fueron observados contestando llamadas y tomando querellas en el cuarto de telefono donde la iluminacion era de 32 pies por bujias. Para un funcionamiento visual eficiente el ANSI A132.1- 1973 (Iluminacion de Oficinas) indica que debe ser de por lo menos 70 pies por bujias. Riesgo: Forzar la vista para ver claramente."
