Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards
that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees
in that employees
were exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
a. The Employer Carlos Ruiz Cash & Carry did not have a written protocol
to handle
domestic violence in the workplace, as required by Act. for the
implementation of a
Protocol to handle Domestic Violence Situation in the Workplace or Place of
employment, Act No 217 of 2006.
One method to abate the hazard:  Develop a written protocol to handle
domestic
violence in the workplace and provided training to all employees.
Information is
available at the Women's Advocate Office. Also  guide for Employers:
Domestic
Violence in the Workplace and others references was  provided during the
inspection.
a.  El patrono Carlos Ruiz Cash & Carry  no tiene un protocolo escrito
para manejar
violencia domestica en el lugar de trabajo, como se requirio por la ley la
implementacion de un Protocolo de Situaciones de Violencia Domestica en el
Lugar
de trabajo o Lugar de Empleo,Ley No. 217 de 2006.
Un metodo para corregir el riesgo:  Desarrollar un protocolo escrito para
manejar
violencia domestica en el lugar de trabajo y proveer adiestramiento a
todos los
empleados. Informacion esta disponible en la Oficina de la Procuradora de
las
Mujeres, Una Guia para Patronos: Violencia Domestica en el Lugar de
Trabajo
y
otras referencias fueron  provistas durante la inspeccion.

establishment employees.

adiestramiento a sus empleados relacionado con el protocolo escrito del
establecimiento para el manejo de la violencia domestica, segun requerido
por
la Ley para la Implementacion de un Protocolo para el Manejo de Situaciones
de Violencia Domestica en el Sitio de Trabajo o Lugar de Empleo, Ley
Numero 217 de 2006.
