Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not provide employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or were likely to cause death or serious physical harm in that: (a)On or about June 19, 2009, an employee entering flooded steam tunnels located at MacArthur Sq. Parking/841 N. James Lovell St., Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was exposed to the hazards associated with steam filled atmospheres. Among others, a feasible and useful method to correct these hazards is to develop and implement procedures for testing prior to entry and continuously when in the tunnels. Certification, and documentation/evidence of abatement is required. Certification of abatement is required by 29 CFR Part 1903 and is to be submitted within ten (10) calendar days after the abatement date.ment

James Lovell St., Milwaukee, Wisconsin Among others, a feasible and useful method to correct these hazards is to conduct a thorough evaluation of the hazards of flooded or otherwise abnormal conditions within the tunnels prior to entry. Certification, and documentation/evidence of abatement is required. Certification of abatement is required by 29 CFR Part 1903 and is to be submitted within ten (10) calendar days after the abatement date.ment

Certification, and documentation/evidence of abatement is required. Certification of abatement is required by 29 CFR Part 1903 and is to be submitted within ten (10) calendar days after the abatement date.ment
