non-compatible chemicals
together:
(a)On or about November 28, 2007 at the worksite, non-compatible chemicals
were
being stored together in a flammable storage cabinet in the weld lab area.
The cabinet
contained 8 four liter glass containers of Methyl Ethyl Alcohol, 6 two and
one half liter
glass containers of 70Nitric Acid, 3 500 Gram containers of 98Ammonium
Peroxydisulfate.
Among others, one feasible and useful abatement method to correct this
hazard is to:
Maintain and store compatible chemicals in the same storage cabinet.
