were
exposed to being crushed while operating the John Deere 4250 tractor,
which did not
have seat belts installed according to the manufacturer's specifications.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is
to provide seatbelts, train the operators, and assure that operators
comply with the
manufacturer's recommendations for operator safety, i.e., to wear
seatbelts
whenever the tractor
is equipped with ROPS or a cab.
