recognized hazards
that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that
employees were exposed to fluid injection and high pressure spray hazards
where a trigger
lock was not maintained for electrostatic spray gun.
Paint booth-The spray equipment is routinely used at the paint booth.
One feasible and acceptable abatement method, among others, to correct
this hazard is to
install, maintain and inspect the trigger guard and ensure the gun is not
operated without a
guard as recommended by the manufacturer.
Abatement certification is required for this violation.  The abatement
certification sheet is
enclosed with the citations.
