Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:On or about 10/04/07 Location:Propane Filling Station Condition:Employees filled DOT 51 propane tanks that were last pressure testes on July 1997. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct the hazard is to follow 49 CFR 180.605(c)(2), which states "Each specification 51 portable tank must be given a periodic inspection and test at least once every five years."
