any defects which might appear between regular inspections.
(a)  Ohio Decorative Products Inc., Spencerville, Ohio:  On or about
December 18, 2008, the
employer operated to two five-ton overhead cranes in the Die Cast
Department.  The canes and
their accessories are exposed to molten zinc metal during operation.  The
employer has not
inspected the operating mechanisms, hooks, and hoist chains on the two
cranes on a daily basis
for signs of defects or malfunctions.
