a) On or about 11/29/07 in the Red Building; during the defrosting of Room
9 evaporator
piping containing ammonia located on the ceiling of Room 11 were struck
and hit with
wooden 2x4's and other pieces of woods to loosen frost and ice build up
subjecting
piping to damage and or leaks.
One feasible and acceptable abatement methods to correct this condition
would be;
eliminate the overhead piping as a cooling/refrigeration source and
install updated
refrigeration system, allow frost and ice to melt naturally, use external
heat sources to
increase temperature of Room 11.  Reference ANSI/ASHRAE 15-1994 Safety

indicating the prohibition
of overloading the freight elevator, train Arctic Glacier employees and
contractors on the
capacity of the freight elevator and the probation of overloading freight
