in-ground lifts
that did not have rated load capacities marked on the hoists and
telescoping stops missing
from lift arms, located at 2224 Main Avenue, Fargo, North Dakota.
(b)  For the employees that work around and under the six ALM & Nussbaum
2-post
above-ground lifts that had contact pads on the lift arms that were
excessively worn or
damaged and the lift locks not properly engaged during vehicle servicing
operations,
located at 2224 Main Avenue, Fargo, North Dakota.
Abatement Note:
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method of abatement would
be to
follow the requirements of ANSI/ALI ALOIM and/or ANSI B153.1 which
includes,
among other requirements, the following:
1.Institute a preventive maintenance program according to the
manufacturer's
specifications.
2.Provide training to employees on proper use and care of the lifts.
3.Ensure all lifts are rated and marked with their load capacity.
4.Schedule and complete all periodic and annual inspections.
