Section 5(a)1 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to being thrown from hazards: Employee at the jobsite was transported from one location to another in the bucket of a Mustang, 2070, Skid Steer Loader. Employee was exposed to hazards associated with being thrown from the bucket. AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS: Comply with all the safety guidelines that are outlined in the operators manual for the Mustang Compact Loader Skid Steer 2070 Model and train all employees/operators in the proper use and limitations of the skid steer. 29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1) requires certification that the abatement of the above violation is completed.
