Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to an explosion hazard: a.On or about October 5, 2009, non-grounded air hoses were used to blow down accumulated combustible dust inside of a powder spray booth, exposing employees to burn injuries from potential explosions. One feasible means of abatement would be to ground all of the equipment used in the spray booth room. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION ARE REQUIRED.TION
