Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to electrical hazards: On or about May 28, 2009 and times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure that the mud/gray water tank was grounded exposing the employees to electrical hazards such as, but not limited to electrical shock and electrocution. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable means to abate this hazard is to ensure all equipment is properly grounded in accordance with RP 54, Section 6.1.16.
