causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in

exposed to laceration hazards while utilizing a power cutter without
following the safety
instructions set forth in the operator's manual.

On 6/25/08, an employee who was operating a Husqvarna K750 power cutter
did not follow the
operator's manual by placing cribbing underneath the material being cut,
resulting in a laceration
to his throat and shoulder when the power cutter's blade was pinched
causing the power cutter
to kick back.
A feasible abatement method includes, but not limited to, ensuring that
the safety instructions
set forth in the operator's manual are followed.s
