which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to
cause death or serious
physical harm to employees in that employees riding an Ottawa tractor
during transfer
movements were exposed to crushing hazards.
On or about 05/24/2008, at 7000 NW 60th Street, in Miami, Florida, an
Ottawa tractor trainer
was standing on an Ottawa tractor platform and connected pneumatic lines
onto a trailer as a
trainee reversed the Ottawa tractor onto the trailer.
Among other methods of abatement, one feasible and acceptable method to
correct this hazard
is to comply with the manufacturer's warning of never allowing anyone to
ride outside of the
cab.
