Section 5(A)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:
The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a
place of employment
which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or were likely
to cause death or
serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to:
a)At a traffic circle on the main driveway leading to the Club House of
Calusa
Pines Golf Club located at 2000 Calusa Pines Drive in Naples, Florida:
Employees were exposed to the hazard of falling off the back of golf carts
when
riding in the bag well area of the cart, on or about January 19, 2009.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is
not permitting employees to ride in the bag well of the golf cart.
