Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that an employee was exposed to being struck by a vehicle: a) Della Road, Orlando - An employee was edging the median with a New Holland tractor. The employee was driving North in the Southbound lane and South in the Northbound lane while edging. One feasible and acceptable method of abatement is to edge from inside the median.
