Nevada Revised Statute 618.375(1): Duties of employers. The employer failed to furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees: The employer failed to ensure that the six auto lift systems were properly maintained as follows: a.Inspections were not conducted and documented at least annually by a qualified lift inspector. Reference ANSI/ALI ALOIM-2000, Paragraph 5.4, 5.5 and 5.6.1 b.A periodic preventive maintenance procedure was not conducted and documented in accordance with the recommendations of the lift manufacturer. Reference ANSI/ALI ALOIM-2000, Paragraph 6.1.1 and 6.1.4 c.Employees were operating the auto lift without training. Reference ANSI/ALI ALOIM-2000, Paragraph 4.2.1. and 4.3 One feasible means of abatement would be to follow the requirements of ANSI/ALI ALOIM- 2000 and the manufacturer's installation and operation manual.on
