Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to crushing hazards: a). Kensington Village Renovation Project. On or about 7/30/08, a DYNAPAC CA15 single drum roller was operated without a roll-over protective structure (ROPS). Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method of abatement would be to install a rollover protective structure (ROPS) on the DYNAPAC CA15 Roller and ensure that the operator utilizes the seat belt. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIREDATION
