Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that an employee was exposed to 15' fall hazard to the ground level. Among other methods, feasible and acceptable abatement methods include , but are not limited to, following the instructions in the operators manual that states, "Only allow operator on the machine. Riders are subject to injury. They may fall from machine, be caught between machine parts, or be struck by foreign objects": a) Jobsite, 100 West Thompson Street - An employee was performing demolition operations from a bucket of a John Deere Skidsteer Loader (model S175) 15' above ground level, observed on or about 1/6/09.
