shop were required
to work under fully extended hydraulic lifts with defective safety
devices, thereby exposing the
employees to struck by hazards in the event the lifts failed.
A feasible method to abate the hazard is to conform to the specifications
referenced in American
National Standards for Automobile Lifts (ANSI/ALI ALOIM-2008) Standard for
safety
requirement for operation, inspection and maintenance.
