period of time up to and including 06/24/09, the employer did not protect
each employee from
caught-between hazards by ensuring employees did not get caught between
loads and stationary
objects.  While unhooking a suspended swivel from a winch, an employee got
between the load
and a stationary object as the load shifted.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard
would be to ensure employees did not get between suspended loads and
stationary objects by
eliminating the procedure of securing the load to the A-frame and placing
the load on the
ground.
