periodic inspections are conducted of this spreader bar.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable means of abatement is to
conduct load testing, frequent and
periodic inspections of the spreader bar in accordance with ASME/ANSI
B30.20; Below The Hook Lifting
Devices.

inspections are not being conducted. In addition, the periodic (yearly)
hoist inspections are not
being conducted in accordance with the hoist manufacturer's
recommendations.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable means of abatement for
item (a) is to develop
a method to insert the pin whereby the employee does not have to put any
part of his body
between the truck frame and the suspended load (bed).
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable means of abatement for
item (b) is to conduct
monthly and yearly inspections in accordance with the manufacturer's
recommendations.
