Genie S-60 aerial
lift was being used to hoist roof trusses into place exposing employees to
tipover and crushing
hazards.  Warning labels on the aerial lift state "Do not place or attach
overhanging loads to any
part of this machine".
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is
to follow the manufacturer's warning labels stating not to use the machine
to attach or lift loads.
