Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer
did not
furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment
which were free from
recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious
physical harm to
employees in that employees were exposed to:
THIS CITATION IS ISSUED TO THE EXPOSING EMPLOYER UNDER OSHA'S
MULTI-EMPLOYER WORK-SITE POLICY.
a)  Employees were observed working near and around vertical electrical
metal conduits,
and were exposed to impalement hazard.  The metal conduits were not
protected or
covered in order to remove the impalement hazard, and the metal electrical
conduits
projected approximately 10 to 12 inches, on average above the floor level.
One suitable
mean of abatement is to cover the conduits with lumber.
ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED.
