(a)Rated load marking.  The rated load of the lifting device shall be
marked on the structure where
it is visible.
(b)Identification.  A nameplate or other permanent marking shall be
affixed displaying the
following information:
(1)Manufacturer's name
(2)Serial number
(3)Lifter weigh, if over 100 lbs.
(4)Rated load
NOTE:  Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct
this hazard is to properly mark
the rated load on the below the hook lifting device.
