Section 5(a)1 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall hazards of 25 feet to asphalt surface below: Guardrail system installed along the roof edge was not installed with the proper number of wire rope clips. Single clips were used to form 2 loops of the 5/16 inch wire rope inter-connected to each other. AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS: Install 2 wire rope clips on any wire rope connections with a diameter less than 1/2 inch diameter. 29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1) requires certification that the abatement of the above violation is completed.
