Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the Distribution Building of the El Yunque Filtration Plant in Rio Grande, where employees work operating the water treatment system was observed a employee standing on two empty containers of (12"x12"x16") adding a 50 pounds container to mixtures tanks (2 EPS SN#304557 120VAC) and the floor was wet. Among other methods, one feasible method of correcting this risk is purchase stairs for the application of the phosphates to the mixers. Hazard: Employees exposed to slips and the product fall over employee. En el Edificio de Distribucion de la Planta de filtracion El Yunque localizada en Rio Grande, donde los empleados trabajan operando el sistema de tratamiento de aguas se observo un empleado parado sobre dos envases plasticos vacios con dimensiones de (12" x 12"x 16") anadiendo un envase de 50 lbs de fosfato a cada tanque de mezcla (2 EPS Systems SN# 304557 de 120VAC) y el piso estaba mojado. Entre otros metodos, un metodo factible para corregir este riesgo es la compra de unas escaleras para que los empleados puedan anadir el producto a los tanques. Riesgo: Empleados expuestos a resbalones y a que el producto le caiga encima.
