North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to fall hazards. a)job site - the employees working from a work platform at a height 71/2 above ground from Lull, Model 1044c, rough terrain extended-reach forklift was not designed in accordance with manufacture requirements. from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to fall hazards. a)job site - the employees working from a work platform at a height 71/2 above ground from Lull, Model 1044c, rough terrain extended-reach forklift was not designed in accordance with manufacture requirements. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to build the work platform in accordance with Lull manufacture requirements or ANSIB-56.6-1992. Ref: Safety Standard for Rough Terrain Forklift Trucks - ASME B56.6-1992 (section 8.25).
